AL HAITHAM .
FOREWORD .
Haitham is an independent && occasionally canon-divergent portrayal. I have crafted his personality and psyche in a way that I'm most fond of from a creator's perspective. There will always be reasons whenever I alter an attribute, so feel free to ask me if you ever grow curious. No content warnings for this archive! Thank you, reader, for getting this far. Enjoy!

𝐈. Looming at 6'8, one could say that Haitham is big-boned— broad shoulders and a body built with intent. Haitham was never one for aesthetics; the build he acquired was solely for the efficiency that strength provided. His logic is this: being attentive to his physique would aid him if any physical altercation is to present itself, and it also benefits his health. He also adorns a nose ring paired with a chain that connects to a singular earring on his right ear. It serves as an heirloom that has existed within his family for generations upon generations. Haitham's figure is also ornamented with many moles && freckles. With such a presentation, it's easy to make him out in a crowd (unfortunate for him). But still, no one really knows who he is? He does not talk to anybody. His wardrobe is modeled for comfort. The mesh of her clothing is breathable which is ideal for her, as she easily grows uncomfortable within specific fabrics. Another thing to note is that she doesn't get cold easily, so it isn't usually layered. People that are not close to him will refer to him by his surname, al-Haitham. On the other hand, those that are cherished often address him by his given name, Hasan. |
𝐈𝐈. Inclined towards writing in cursive, she is also biased towards short-handing common words when notes serve only herself. She prefers pen && paper over any typewriter or technological format. The words strewn across every line are methodically spaced out, so it is legible. Each letter is consistently shaped, as if tirelessly practiced to replicate an eloquent font. Click here to view a sample of how her writing looks. As a scribe, it's important that whatever she jots down is comprehensible (so long as someone else will be reading it). The way in which Haitham speaks parallels well to this. She never saw much use for flowery language when generally conversing, although she can appreciate abstract sentence structure in literature. The point of communication is to convey your message, so how she speaks will always be catered towards the receiver. However, this is only an attempt. More often than not, her sentiments will fly over people's heads regardless. Haitham's voice is of a deeper mid-level pitch, often monotone unless swinging the vowels of a word for emphasis. She also has an Arabic accent of Basri dialect. The scribe also doesn't take well to swearing, viewing it as unnecessary if one possesses the vocabulary required to properly express oneself. Perhaps she picked this up from mainly being surrounded by old, conventional women. As a matter of fact, Haitham's bibi has friends who are still alive that she catches up && spends time with outside of work hours. The perfect crew to inquire to if you're looking for embarrassing childhood photos, too. But, don't tell her I told you that. |
𝐈𝐈𝐈. It's always an offputting sight to witness the scribe of the akademiya babytalking animals when he tends to be objectively-based in his tone. For context, it wasn't rare for his bibi to take in injured beings while she was still present. Sumeru crawls with wildlife— not rare for creatures to draw close to establishments, especially with where they remained. Haitham's childhood home sat snugly between an array of trees and foliage, located within Chinvat Ravine. Due to residing in the outskirts of the city, him and his bibi would face more circumstances of injured animals than most. Ever since he was a kid, he was averted from people; they were boring or he found their antics foolish. Animals were not unnecessarily rowdy, and did not harbor a baseless flair of arrogance. They were better companions than humans! Therefore, he'd often involve himself in helping his bibi nurse critters back to health. They've always earned a tender spot in his heart, even to this day. |
𝐈𝐕. Tied to her fondness for wild creatures, she took up falconry. It was a common practice within her family. She underwent apprenticeship through her bibi's teachings. It is ultimately training bird of prey to catch smaller game (squirrels or mice, for example). Present time, Haitham wields a saqr falcon that she named al-Raqis. Click here to view the appearance. Its vast enclosure remains beside her abode. Given that this breed of bird is endangered, he could be considered a breeder because he is working to repopulate the species. Hasan tends to many other birds ( including several more falcons ) under his care. However, they have not been trained to do much bidding in comparison to Raqis. Haitham is an early riser who finds herself taking morning strolls at the brink of dawn, all for the sake of not being caught within a crowd. Such a sweet silence is soothing, and during this leisure she will bring al-Raqis to explore the serenity of the wilderness. It is in the forests of Sumeru that her falcon is set free to bring back materials for the sake of research or that night's meal. Many are privy to al-Raqis' duties, as Haitham will also send her to deliver and retrieve items such as work-related documents. Haitham also participates in snake venom extraction, in which venom is carefully removed from the fangs then used for remedies. The properties of poisons and medical ails have always been a topic of interest to her. Outside of this task, Haitham has a black whip snake that goes by Zaurac who merely serves as good company. Click this link to see more information on the species! Although it is venomous, it is not aggressive unless threatened. |
𝐕. Haitham is well-versed in navigating via celestial navigation. It is impossible for him to get lost so long as the sky is overhead, because she has the constellations memorized. Having been taught a multitude of subjects by her grandmother, astronomy && physics stood out to her the most. How enticing it was to little Haitham, learning the technicalities of her world. Alongside having a good sense of direction, her physical senses are hyper-sensitive. This is the utmost reason why she cannot go without her ear pieces on her person. It's easy for an environment to overstimulate her. By then, she will don her noise canceling headphones. If things grow particularly inconvenient, Haitham will resort to playing music. Her favorite genres consist of the following: breakcore, rave, && trance. Most would find it amusing to know that the upright scribe finds such aggressive notes pleasant. But, even Haitham has aspects to evoke surprise... Arguably more than most do. Another thing to note is that Haitham wears reading glasses, due to being far-sighted. |
𝐕𝐈. There are plenty of places people would never even consider pulling out a book within. It seems that Haitham always has a piece of literature in hand; the only circumstance in which he resorts to an audiobook is when exercising his body. This goes to say, Haitham has a habit of taking extensive warm baths— bath bombs && lit incense, as well as dimmed lights to set the mood when he reads. It's obnoxious. Frankly, at times he even goes as far as to occupy the bathroom and leave it with a slippery and puddled floor to inconvenience Kaveh. Haitham also loves to leave his baskets of knitting and crocheting materials out for him to clean up. One could note that her pettiness with her roommate is unmatched to that of anyone else. Not to worry though, she does truly use that yarn. In fact, Haitham can sew too, and her sewing machine is very dear to her, safely kept away in the closet of the master bedroom. Despite Haitham's skew towards books and knowledge oriented activities, she's always made time to maintain her hobby of re-innovating old dollhouses. |
𝐕𝐈𝐈. A common misconception is that Haitham only directs himself towards nonfiction. However, he actually spans himself across all genres! It's important to him that he look at literature from all angles, as he does everything else (all in order to find the best perspective). In fact, his inclination towards a variety of fantasy has evoked the quality of being a visionary. Haitham is a very visual person, and this goes to show in the way he plans && learns. Such a quality is depicted in his need to create footnotes within his books. He has never minded the marked up pages of scribbled underlines or notes, so long as they serve the purpose of heightening comprehension. To him, it's way of efficiency and isn't lowering the quality of the book itself! |

There is usually one out of two outcomes when you inquire about Haitham. The first potential response is a perplexed look with a shake of the head. Who is Al Haitham? It's as if she is nothing but a faint presence, and not many note her existence due to her aversion of people. The second plausible reply is one of neutrality, or disdain.Although Haitham desires to speak from a point of fact, it comes across as conceited to her receivers. Whether or not she is aware of this is indefinite, but it most likely varies from circumstance to circumstance. Admittedly, when her judgement is needed, she never cares to gently course over her points— says it bluntly. The scribe's communication style is concluded to be rigid due to her knowledge-driven mannerisms. However, this is only a side effect of her wanting to present information to people in a way that allows them to come to their own conclusions. It seems that Haitham tends to interact with people on the basis of what she would prefer if she is left with no resources to cover the nuances. Such a tendency extends towards social interactions, which she finds tiring but still attempts to read up on. Unfortunate for Haitham, conversations will rarely go as planned && a social cue she believes is well-executed is either purposefully ignored or misunderstood. People will forever be frustrating to her, and she even goes as far as to note that she finds it rare to come to a valuable epiphany when conversing with people. This is why she proves to be asocial, preferring the company of her books.When engaging with people, Haitham's tendencies can result in her being described as arrogant. Amusingly so, she has no qualms with these negative opinions as long as it will keep people from bothering her. Alongside that, she maintains an unpredictable schedule in order to secure freedom and avoid being approached. To Haitham, social interaction isn't a requirement for a fulfilling life. However, it is important to note that these rumors of ulterior motives couldn't be farther from the truth. After all, one of her main goals has always been to live a peaceful && quiet life. Paired with a virtuous strive like that, she has no issues with being lazy and doing exactly how much she should do for her job (no more and no less) for the sake of stability. Possessing too many ambitions isn't on Haitham's bucket list. This is also why she isn't fond of holding authoritative positions, even within smaller scopes. There's no use in getting your hopes up on coaxing her to aid you beyond her job description. While there are people at the facility who will work themselves to the bone && overtime just for the chance at greater recognition, Haitham couldn't care less for such an endeavor. In fact, she finds the principles of the very akademiya she works at despicable and irrational. For one, the school functions off of a hierarchy and Haitham has never been one to respect people until they have properly earned such regard. Placing individuals, even archons, on a pedestal was a dangerous and foolish feat in her opinion. To get ahead, it was necessary to mooch off of a variety of social groups to be involved in significant research projects. Without this category of advance, there was no hopes in graduating. She wasn't a fan of this. Many students found her lack of desire in the realms of social interaction (to put it simply) rude. To Haitham, it was a matter of them being boring and lacking the qualities of someone she would define as a legitimate scholar. They were people who acted out of vanity. So long as the information they wielded tied into nurturing their egos, they paid no attention to accuracy.She noticed that as time progressed, what should have been the image of a true pursuer of knowledge grew distorted. Come to think of it, despite describing herself as a feeble scholar, Haitham resembles what a scholar should be known as. Her drive is not for the sake of creating a public image. In fact, she has no regard for it! Whether or not people admire her has never influenced her state of mind. Through her quest for intellect and thorough awareness of the world, there have been plenty of instances in which she has been misconceived. However, she's learned to not take it personally; if someone is to relay incorrect perceptions, that is their own fault. Others actions have nothing to do with her and are projections of themselves. That is why it isn't hard for her to point out the hypocrisy of everyone who tries to criticize her ways. She is full of herself? Hah! And how full of themselves are they, to think they can pass judgement upon someone they've barely gotten a sentence or two out of? She is cruel in nature? How cruel is it of them to intrude on her when the most she's ever wanted is to be left alone to enjoy herself? A waste of time, these people are! In fact, Haitham pities them to an extent... Whether this sentiment of hers is an oxymoronic reflection of hypocrisy upon hypocrisy is a complex question. Not even Celestia could debunk it.In reality, Haitham is an individual with qualities that overlap to create an intricate map that is simple in core concept. It is easy to make the scribe out to be malicious and even callous, but that could not be any further from the truth! While she may have adopted a reality in which she believes it isn't plausible to save everyone on a wider scale, she is not incapable of compassion (so long as there's reason to express such). After all, a life of serenity is only accomplishable within an (overall) content society. Therefore, Haitham isn't someone who generally harbors sadism, unless she's in the position to believe the other end deserves it. Most of the time, though, if you present no ill-will, she won't either. The only reason she's been written off negatively is because most people within her proximity like to purposefully prod at her. Because she mainly operates from rationale, they attempt to frame her as someone less than human. But, to Haitham, individuality is an asset. Rest assured, she would never make someone feel bad for possessing their own quirks so long as its within a reasonable context. Focusing on self preservation, and being someone who has a genuine desire to learn more, is an easy way to gain the favor of this scribe! Another resourceful quality she exhibits is creativity. This is depicted through her use of unique language and her ability to tinker— viewing subjects from multiple perspectives. Haitham is a problem solver && innovator at heart. If someone is looking for solutions, she is the one to turn to. The scribe is inclined towards being presented complex content to view critically. She'd always found great pleasure in dancing with the misinformation she'd find within her bibi's library. To be provided raw intel is one thing... The ability to be able to sift through media and utilize one's own deductions to uncover what is true && credible is an entirely different force to behold. This aspiration is what sets her apart from her scholarly counterparts. The convenience of the akasha is beloved by them. Haitham despises how it functions, equivalent to weakening the mind into nothing but a sponge. How will those who are reliant on this network of knowledge learn to question and analyze?But this isn't a conflict she plans on addressing within her lifetime. Haitham is just fine keeping her head low and enjoying her own company. Celebrating life to the fullest while not stressing over great matters is the key to happiness.
STORYLINE .
" May my child, Hasan, lead a peaceful life ... "
There is a plethora of habits that are present within Haitham thanks to his grandmother. She is the one who has raised him after all, in dual with her work in the Kshahrewar darshan. This goes to say, it wasn't only her textile art forms that were passed onto Haitham. From his life philosophies to his hobbies, much of it was based off of nurture. Bibi had a generous archive of hard-copy books, and Haitham scaled through the texts and come to his own conclusions. It seemed that he had inherited a level of intellect from his parents, whom had both died in an accident when Haitham was far too young to even recollect their faces. Everything he recognizes of them is based off of old photos and tales from his bibi. Significantly so, it was his father that he grew up to share a love for reading with. People expect such a loss to have impacted him longterm; while he did feel a sense of something missing when younger, his devoted path of logic beckoned him towards not lingering on it. Complex emotions and grief over what could have been were left in his childhood. The main remnant of his parents was himself and how he excelled in intellectual development. It was to the point he was enrolled into the akademiya early upon his bibi's suggestion. Not long after setting forth, he returned home. Having only been able to endure the setting for half a day, Haitham deemed his peers && the program "boring". Reading in recluse was far better than having to listen to the ongoing conversations and designated curriculum. Of course, this explained how Haitham's motivation towards garnering knowledge was by his own piqued interest && accord. On the other hand, there was far more to the story that little Haitham could only bring himself to admit at a later date. With how he presented in demeanor, his classmates found it easy to alienate and tease him. After all, what better target was there for cruel kids other than the student who was easily set apart? Why was he so quiet? Why didn't he ever look up from his books? This is why he hasn't befriended anyone yet, right? Did he think he was better than everyone?... These were the questions and taunts Haitham was quickly faced with. Ironically enough, those within his social scope still come to such consensus to this very day. Purposeful anguish that people would bestow upon one another in the akademiya continues to be relentless. Furthermore, it wasn't farfetched for torment to transpire into something physical; maybe this was what brought her to realize that developing a tactic for altercations was necessary. But, there came a time in which Haitham recognized his talents that separated him from others with a level of appreciation. His bibi noted that being unique is a gift. It took little time for this sentiment to sift through his brain. Although Haitham does not talk of his parents much, he is well aware that they were also considered different. He chooses to honor them alongside himself through not finding shame in his distinct nature.This sense of individuality only developed further when he was homeschooled, self taught and guided by his remaining guardian. This experience was what made him the way he is to this day; there were no camaraderies for the sake of intimacy. Through a lack of outside input, he believed that socialization was not a need for him. Whether or not this is entirely true, or a jaded position based off his own life experience, depends on what the perceiver's privy is. The fact of the matter was, Haitham rarely felt lonely, && enjoying his own company had always been the ideal way to spend his time. Only once his bibi passed from old age did Haitham experience sensing a person's lack of presence. Her burial had occurred weeks before, but he would still find her face lingering within every facet of the old abode... In her cupboard with her floral appliances. By her sewing machine. At her swinging chair. Within the warm embrace of her handmade quilts. It was as if, just yesterday, Haitham had been there to witness bibi's laugh lines sink into her face, eyelids creasing with a smile as she'd sweetly ask him to make a cup of gahwa. Intense flights of anguish and a desire to rationalize his feelings left him in shambles. However, so long as this house was alive, she would also live on in vivid memory. He had decided to enroll in the akademiya once he managed to settle in his grievances. Much like with his parents, he eventually succumbed to the sentiment of needing to move forward— future-oriented. With that, comes a tale of its own.
It is common knowledge that al-Haitham is not someone inclined towards socializing, even for the sake of positive recognition. Most would deem him a mad man for this very reason, due to research projects within the akademiya often being a group effort. To be disliked or unknown would imply failure. On the contrary, Haitham was a special case. She only ever required one research project to secure herself a stable life && income. In fact, said findings are still used by the akademiya to this day; surprisingly, such a matter wasn't accomplished on her own. It was at the school where Haitham met Kaveh. Although the study itself was conducted successfully, the two of them eventually shattered in the context of rapport. Their psyches were ultimately incompatible, and Haitham mapped out one route only for his peer to refute it. They were polar opposites. While the scribe was driven by sensible aspirations, the architect followed flights of passion and indulgence. A prominent contrast in archetype led to constant quarrels, in which Haitham usually deemed Kaveh weak-minded; Kaveh chirped back accusations of him being subhuman. Therefore, once the project came to a proper conclusion, they parted ways, no longer "friends" by any means. He was certain that there was no chance of them meeting again voluntarily. Yet, once they crossed paths once more, Haitham found his former companion in financial debt. Kaveh would have had secured housing had he accepted the akademiya's former offers, but he never anticipated that he would tumble to a personal rock-bottom. Haitham, on the other hand, wasn't surprised by this twisted fate. The architect was always being cheated out of his funds one way or another— naive! To be driven by raw desire was one thing, and to blindly follow yearnings of the heart was another. Everything that man did was always in turn of ego... A direct contrast to Haitham, who did not care to craft his presentation for any reason other than to discourage people from approaching him.Living together didn't prove to be peaceful. In fact, Haitham only allowed Kaveh to stay with him for the sake of his rare social curiosities. A long time ago, he acknowledged that Kaveh was an inverted reflection of himself. Staying with him wouldn't prove to be ideal in terms of compatibility. But, housing the architect in his nest would be an enticing experiment, given that he could acknowledge Kaveh's intrinsic worth as far as his mirroring perceptions. Kaveh is a genius in his craft, even if his characteristics and behaviors weren't in line with the scribe's own. In theory, having a looking glass that greatly differentiated from his own would aid him in developing thorough conclusions within his intellectual journey. In addition, it wasn't as if he would lack control over the situation— being the rightful landlord. Kaveh may wind up miserable due to his domestic reign, but that was none of his concern! Haitham was far too busy sitting with the conflicts of having finally left his childhood home... Again, moving on was a forthright necessity. But, he was planning on maintaining ownership of his grandmother's abode and simply allowing travelers to rent it out so that he could keep a hold on it. Sentimental value was something rare to experience for the scribe, && human life as well as one's own health was forever the priority. It was rare for him to overextend himself in regards to mawkish thought processes, so this was a prominent occasion.Up until he meets the traveler, he goes on to live a quiet life that lacked being perceived by others. The main reason Haitham cares enough to infiltrate the akademiya and rid it of its corrupt plan is so that he can continue to live as a scribe. Chaos breaking out would not be good for the general society— hence, not for him either. This was not a prolific act of altruism. However, it is this event that has led him to develop fledged companionships with those that he had met; something Haitham hadn't been in a position to acquire for a very long time. Not that he would ever purposefully consider to place himself in such a circumstance! Nevertheless, on a good night, you can find him enjoying himself at the tavern with the hyperbloom crew of Tighnari, Cyno, and Kaveh... Although his lone nature has not shifted completely (perhaps it never will) he does appear to slightly soften to the idea of company. The only disaster that was catalyzed from his conquest of the former sages' plans was that he was temporarily appointed as grand acting sage. It is no secret that Haitham despises authoritative positions, considering they put him in the limelight && harbor too much responsibility. Luckily, there were benefits to the occupation, but he planned to depart as soon as an ample replacement was found. Considering his hand was forced to take on the title, he didn't find it morally intrusive to carry out the grand sage's duties as he would a scribe... With a low profile, making sure to not be caught by an influx of subordinates who would nag him by any means. And if someone is to complain? Why don't they attempt to fill his shoes for the day?... See if he would care. It would only give him good excuse for vacation— free time to enjoy the shores, or a warm bath. Hah. What a life!

// VIEWPOINT |
---|
Developing a rapport with Hasan that is bountiful enough to reap platonic affections is an impressive feat as is. She always lacked intimate relationships, and perhaps that's where this philosophy comes in: you cannot miss something you never had in the first place. What she knows of love derives from her books— fiction and utility-based. She is objectively aware of what it takes to have a fruitful bond (platonic as well as romantic) which would be trust, communication, respect, and a level of relatability. Executing these things would prove to be easy if she could meet the right person whom would spark attraction in that context. Considering it's not a sensation Hasan had ever experienced |
IDEAL PARTNER . |
---|
// LOVE LANGUAGES & ATTACHMENT |
---|
Truthfully, she is a romantic. In her eyes, it is easiest to depict her love in ways that are both conventional and unconventional. Hasan will be quick to order the freshest bouquets, bloomed of her lover's favorite, sweet-scented petals. She will send you love letters and small trinkets, allowing her falcon to carefully take belongings within its talons and cast off— a personal messenger bird. Physical objects are a practical && timeless way to encapsulate love. The scribe also does best with acts of service and words of affirmation. As she says, language can prove to be a powerful force if wielded with tact and a careful hand! On the other hand, Hasan despises when words are put forth yet actions do not properly align. So, it's only reasonable to be of aid whenever possible, all to ensure she is keeping their wellbeing in mind. For instance, if there is a chore she's aware her lover isn't fond of, she'll be quick to be the one to tend to it. If their workspace is lacking organization, she has no issue tidying it (although her own desk doesn't model pristine order either). On the other hand, Hasan tends to struggle with physical touch and quality time, at least towards the beginning of a relationship. She is generally touch-averted, so it can take time to grow accustomed to such exchanges. It isn't that she doesn't enjoy a warm embrace or tender kiss, more-so, she has sensory issues due to being sensitive in many physical regards. Also, Hasan can struggle to keep up with quality time due to her strive for individuality. Still determined to maintain the ability to exist outside of her romantic relationship, she sets time aside for herself to enjoy her own company. It doesn't mean she is not enamored by her partner's presence. If anything, it is an act that is done for the sake of the both of them. Hasan is well aware that extreme attachment is not a good thing, and time away will make the time together feel much more valuable! Attachment style wise, she is secure but bordering dismissive avoidant depending on the circumstances. As dearly as she may love her partner, her hyper-independence may be something worthy of conversation if it ever gets in the way of intimacy. |
DATE PREFERENCES. |
---|
Hasan tends to prefer things that are private or secluded— as are other things in her life. Somewhere that could be rowdy or crowded is the last place anyone should deem a good place to spend time with her. In such a setting, she'd likely ramp up her ear pieces to the point she may not even be able to hear you talk. A reclusive picnic or walk along the shore is a safe option. That, or domestic activities. How Hasan loves to teach of things she knows and be taught! If her partner isn't well-versed in the kitchen or in sewing, the scribe would be more than happy to set forth a few tips and instructions. And, she will certainly appreciate any new insight they could give in return. Hasan isn't exactly high-maintenance... This doesn't mean she does not require or isn't willing to put in effort. However, just about anything casual could be considered a date so long as it is purposeful and involves quality time. If Hasan is ever the one to plan an outing, she will be attentive to her lover's interests and incorporate everything in a way that she knows they will both enjoy themselves while being able to revel in each other's presences. If it is a dinner date, she'll usually lean towards the restaurants with dishes that are known to be of higher quality in terms of taste. She currently favors a place in the outskirts of Sumeru that, sadly, does not gather much traction due to its offsite location. But, this is perfect for someone who does not wish to be tangled in additional social affairs! |

// ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
Hasan resides in the living room, leaned back with a book open in hand. It neatly rests on a large palm, encompassing various rune interpretations in the form of a unique, fictional narrative. He could have drowned in the sea of words that tightly tethered his interest to the pages. It is as if a string of fate twined his eyes with anchors of text. Silence blesses the home ; it is a familiar chain of events. Each time their flight of banter commences, it ends one of two ways. He would be lying if he noted that he exactly minded the routine ; after all, it was a gift to him from the universe. No one cherished consistency more than Hasan. Maybe this element was what made him the homemaker, and while he would never part his maw to admit it, Kaveh soon became a part of his vision of home. When Bibi died, he didn't expect anyone else to become a constant in his life due to his general disinterest in people. But, Kaveh proved to be an exception. Kaveh was always his exception, somehow.In this instance, his headphones are turned off. There's no need for them since he can't pick up much audio aside from the occasional ruffling of items from the office room. As a matter of fact, he's grown so comfortable that his eyes begin to flutter closed. Half-closed... Snap open. Half-closed again, snap open...This dance only lasts so long before he has dozed off, book creating a canopy over his face. Soft snores leave him, and he happens to be a deep sleeper ; luckily, he hasn't gotten to that stage of slumber by the time Kaveh saunters in. A wavering voice evokes a light groan from his lips, not even bothering to push the book off from the fulcrum of his nose. "No. I didn't go through your sketchbooks. It isn't as if I have any need to arrange your supplies when you rarely use half of them," he replies.Of course Hasan went through them. He admired her works, regardless of their differences. It would take a fool to overlook Kaveh's brilliance, a resplendent palace adorned with captivating concepts and wondrous musings. Why, Kaveh, was comparable to the very magnum opus she threw herself into debt to construct. Alas, she kept her personal projects more private... What he didn't expect to find through his snooping endeavors, however, were illustrations upon illustrations of the scribe himself! The material was still fresh, evident in the way they vibrantly sunk into the pages. The pace of his heart-quickens, each beat like a light paint stroke, leaving a trail of gentle warmth in its wake. He couldn't hold this over Kaveh's head. Not when the sentiments paralleled. Each rendering was a blatant depiction of how she saw Hasan — features even livelier and intricate than in person. Almost as if the artist donned rose-tinted glasses. Teasing Kaveh for her muse would prove to be hypocritical, with the way she sifted in his mind throughout the day. Hasan hates being a hypocrite. Not only that, but subjecting the both of them to confronting what Hasan had come across would prove to be a unique embarrassment he wasn't sure they could handle.

001 MODERN
Hasan has come from a long line of pilots and aerospace experts. Perhaps, this is why he is exceptionally well-versed in celestial navigation. There is something soothing about enjoying himself in the cockpit, where not many may sweep him away with conversation which he is rather impartial to. ( Wip )
